Listed below are the sites we have available to hire for promotional activities including there dimensions. They are know as the following:
Central Square measuring approximately 118m² may be used in its entirety but is normally split into 2 and charged as 2 separate areas known as CS1 measuring 59m² and CS2 measuring 28m². It is located in the middle of the shopping centre and is overlooked by the entire first floor. These sites have power and may be booked by the day or week.
Pillar wraps are an alternative primarily used for the display of backboards and leafleting which may be manned by up to 2 people and do not have power.
4 Retail Merchandise units are also available on the ground floor in the main walkways and are suitable for many different types of products. These have power and lighting and can be hired for periods of 1 week to 3 months.
DISPLAY AREA -
CONDITIONS OF USE
1. You must indemnify the managers and owners of Broad Street Mall against all claims, proceedings and expenses connected with your use of the display area. Please supply a copy of a public liability insurance certificate covering yourselves against legal liability in respect of death or injury to person or damage to property arising from your use of the display area. The cover should be for at least £5,000,000 for any one incident.
2. Please supply a copy of your current Portable Appliance Testing Certificate (if appropriate). Without this we are unable to allow you to trade.
3. Please supply us with a copy of your risk assessment regarding this promotion
4. Please supply us with a method statement regarding this promotion
5. In order to comply with current fire regulations, you must ensure that your promotion does not exceed 5 mega watt fire loading.
6. While every effort is made to safeguard all property in the Centre, we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your property while on the premises. Every person connected with your display comes to the Centre at their own risk.
7. During your promotion you are responsible for any damage you do to any property belonging to Broad Street Mall, including display equipment and you are responsible for the full cost of repair.
8. No goods or services may be advertised or offered for sale on your display which are in competition with those offered by a tenant within the Centre unless specific prior permission has been given.
9. All exhibitions are to be set up, manned and fully open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. each day the centre is open, unless other arrangements have been agreed before the start of the promotion.
10. You must comply with all reasonable requirements of Broad Street Mall staff and obey any regulations relating to the display area in particular and the shopping centre as a whole.
11. You may park in the basement delivery road in order to load and unload your promotional material, (approximately 20 minutes) but after that time your vehicle must be parked in a public car park.
12. It is essential that your display is of smart and professional appearance. If it is not, we will insist that the display is either improved or removed. Hand written signs are not acceptable
13. You are responsible for keeping your display area clean and tidy at all times. You must dress in a professional manner, i.e. smart. No smoking, no eating, no drinking and no reading of books or newspapers is allowed in the display area. The use of mobile telephones must be kept to a minimum
14. We reserve the right to terminate this permission at any time upon 24 hours notice. Should any of the above conditions of use be broken we reserve the right to terminate permission for your display without notice.
15. In the event of an evacuation of Broad Street Mall, the emergency evacuation point is at Grey Friars Church
